Swimming
We have begun our swimming programme at Huia Pool. The weather hasn't been great but that hasn't deterred anyone from giving their best in the pool. We are seeing progress already.

Swimming at Huia
On Monday 31 August, we start our swimming programme at Huia Pool.
Every day for the next 2 weeks you need to bring your towel, togs,
goggles and a warm sweatshirt to put on after swimming.
These all need to be named and brought to school in a bag big enough to
put your clothes and shoes in when you take them off. A reusable
supermarket bag is ideal for this as it has a wide opening and is large
enough to fit all their clothes, shoes, coat etc. in, easily.
Girls need to have their hair tied up to keep it out of their eyes and off their face.

Swimming
Today we went swimming with Room 3. We had running races across the pool and played 'Fishes in the Water' . Most of us were able to put our head under the water. Mrs Morgan was very proud of us.
