Minoh House

Today we went to Minoh House. We went to experience some Japanese culture as part of our topic. Ikumi taught us to use chopsticks and we practised picking up little marshmallows. I think most of us need a lot more practise as it was very hard!!
We also learnt to sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' in Japanese. We are going to practise it at school.
We made lanterns which we thought was pretty cool to do.
It was a lot of fun at Minoh House and we think it would be a really good idea to go there with our families on September 27th for the Spring Festival.
This character means 'Love'
A very pretty kimono
